The Ridgewood Soccer Association (RSA) offers a Special Needs Soccer program for boys and girls in Ridgewood and neighboring towns, who require the individualized attention of a smaller soccer program. One of the unique features of the program is that the Ridgewood High School Varsity Soccer team acts as the program's coaches. Each week the RHS girls work one-on-one with the children to teach them new soccer skills, and end each session with a playful, small sided soccer match.
The Special Needs Soccer program has been a part of the RHS girl's soccer community for several years and is something that the girls look forward to each fall. This year, the last session of the RSA Special Needs Soccer program was held on Halloween. The Coaches and players came dressed for the occasion! It was a fun day for all.
